Dear All,
The following is a discussion with an Israeli lady who posted her first comment in a group supporting Gaza...I had to send her a message in response to what she wrote...and then she messaged me back...:
Liron ****:
THAT'S WHAT TERRORISTS GET.
Eventually.
May they next time think harder and make the right choice:
PEACE VS. murder and terrorizing.
IT'S YOUR CHOICE.
WHEN YOU CHOSE:
- killing over a life of prosperity side by side your neighbors;
- Buying missiles (each is around $10,000) over the well being of your own people, namely- the next generation;
-advocating hate from an early age (we've all seen way too many times the flag burnings, and the tempestuous cries for the destruction of western society, represented by the quintessential U.S and Israel);
--> that's what you end up with.
And for the Palestinian individuals, and those who see themselves as a nation:
you chose these people, the terrorist group known as the 'Hamas' to lead you. Therefore, you are to blame too, for your situation currently, and the road leading you there.
Those who sleep with dogs will rise with fleas, so to speak.
Peace to all.
Lost-Libyan:
I read what you posted on that group and I was surprised where all your western values of humanity and equal rights go! I ll go with you on this one that they CHOSE these people! ok who had the right to vote?! Adults yeah!? so what is in it for the children dying of hunger and shortage in medical care?! children cant sleep at night when it is supposed to be xmas time or Hannukah if u were a jew!? do u think thats fair!? eleminating a whole population over some Hamas leaders?! I think u didnt think it through! think twice! we r all the same we r human beings! if u do believe in that u wouldnt have probably said what u said!
Talk about Peace...how ironic that is coming from you! I mean compare what u typed in the begning and then ending it with peace! I dont think that d be possible.....whats going on now will cause an on-going retaliation and there will be no room for peace ...the peace we all agree to define in some way which is clearly the opposite of what u define it as for you it means mass slaughter of palestenians in order to garuantee Israel's prosperity over children's blood!
Liron ****:
Hello my friend,
It's always easy to ignore the truth, and forget the past, when convenient, isn't it now?
What HAS LED to this current state of affairs?
Oh, you say to yourself, oh, that little business with the few missiles thrown at the Israelis. Oh that...
That tiny weenie business of throwing HUNDREDS of missiles into a neighboring country, for no reason, aside from terrorizing and publicly declaring of the will to annihilate Israel of all its inhabitants. Oh, yeah, this includes the children, elderly, and sickn people you yourself has mentioned.
You know very well, as the rest of the westernized, non-religiously brain-washed world knows, that Israel wants PEACE. That's it.
It has no desire to hold this piece of land called 'Gaza', what would be the point in that? It is FORCED upon her. REPEATEDLY, PROVOCATIVELY.
I am, of course, very sad to hear about the deaths or misfortunes of children, or any other human being for that matter. I do not care about religion belief, gender, or nationality.
But, it within the Palestinians' power to end this. Simply by eradicating those radical forces within them. By SHOWING that they are the humane, peace-loving people that, for now, they only say they are.
And words, ny friend, need to be backed up by action sometimes.
This is such a time for that.
Israel, for its part, has definitely shown to do just that.
Peace.
TRUE peace, that is.
Lost-Libyan:
Dear Liron,
The casualties in 2 days by the Isreali Army surpassed those caused by Hamas over a longer period of time, so if this keeps going how many lives will be taken away in a heartbeat!? Im not palestenian but what motivates me is my humane side! I'd do the same for the misfortunate people in Darfour or anywhere in this wolrd where fellow human beings are being opressed or facing mass genocide! I do feel sorry for the Isreali children and eldery who happened to be the victims of Hamas! but dont u think that violence only breeds violence! do you think it'd stop right here that palestenians wouldnt avenge for the hunders who died in the past couple of days and who knows maybe for some days to come! this will keep going on and on until the end of time...so Isreal will never find the peace it's been looking for and palestenians wont find home that they have been clearly longing to over the past 60 yrs! I believe in co-existence but my beliefs are starting to fade away every morning when I see the news and how we as human beings are losing track of global peace mutual respect for the different religions and ethnic groups! I think you should start demadning Isreal to sieze fire on Gaza strip and never give upon peaceful negociations! So do palestenians ...they need to request from Hamas to go back to the negociation table and cut down on the miltary actions against Israeli civilians!
Your Sincerely,
****

One Year, Two Months, & Eleven Dayz!!
Dear Fellow Bloggers,
Yes, It has been over a year since I last made any actions around the blogosphere, and many aspects of my personality and the circumstances factored in my absence. Yesterday, I remembered my blog and everyone who was a regular to it; why was that! I met this person and reminded me of an old Post of mine about Libyan Jews! Yes,I met this tolerant jew and we had a long conversation about co-exsitence and peace! I was thrilled that somebody was willing to meet me half way and to put the media crap about religious conflicts aside! So yeah...I visited my blog and discovered it had been over a year! I was like "I need to make a comeback....there is alot to share with each and every signle one of you"! As you know people's convictions change over time and we dont have the same stances anymore; in addition, I feel that I grew up in many more ways as I have aqcuired new experiences!!
The last quarter of 2007 was hell for me...I had to seek professional help from my University counsellor, he did put me on Anti-Depressants and my grades plummeted drastically by the end of Fall 2007! Later.....2008 has arrived bringing along some hope for me and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. It was Spring 2008 and was my final Semester at the American University of Sharjah! so basically I had to make the most of it....Partying hard non-stop...whether it was on Weekend or Weekdays...I introduced myself to lota bad stuff and I was sugar coating the fact that I was heading down the wrong path by a make believe execuse I came up with! " I worked hard and sacrficied alot during school...It's time I enjoy life a bit more" ....(Way too more)....So Spring 2008 was over and I graduated with a 3.6 GPA which due to the aformentioned circumtsances...I could have scored higher! anyhow....I moved to Montreal for graduate studies in Engineering...I attened the first couple of days and I was like " Im done with Engineering....There has to be more to life than Engineering"....I decided to move Toronto to apply for MBA program at one of Toronto's most Prestegious Schools...York University, Ryerson University, and University of Toronto! After Ramadan, I met the most disfucntional people...I'd rather not mention their Nationality! they were potheads...and I agreed to go with the flow as I was free of any commitments to school or whatsoever, but as usual I went to far to the point where I had this weird rush of Adrenaline one day and I could feel my body organs fail one right after the other! at that same cold rainy night...I was almost mugged and stabbed by a homeless white trash! I guess that was a wake up call for to end the affiliation with alchohol and drugs immediately....Cold Turky kinda thing! So yeah...Looking back at my old posts I realized alot have changed without me knowing but change doesnt always mean change for the better! Therefore, it's about time I start honesty sessions with myself and see what I have done wrong and make a promise to myself not to go back to that ever again....I was this close to turn into the person I have always looked down upon!
It feels so great to be able to write again....and I hope my old bloggers have not forgotten about my colorful and lively blog! It's back.....After a while...I will be back too!
Happy Belated Eid, Merry Xmas, and Happy Hanukkah

15 Things U Will Love About Nerds!!!

Hello everybody, I know its been a long while now, and everytime I use the same excuse......anyhow, one of my friends posted this note on www.facebook.com ...it's about why you females should consider dating Geeks and Nerds...Lost Libyan for instance! lol ...it goes like this:
In the wide world of dating, there are many options. Do you go for the flashy guy with the smooth smile, or the dude in the corner typing away on his laptop? The following are reasons why I think my fellow females should pay more attention to the quiet geeks and nerds, and less attention to the flashy boys.
1.) While geeks and nerds may be awkward, they’re well-meaning 9 out of 10 times. That smooth dude with the sly grin and the spider hands? Wonder what HIS intentions are... plus, I’ve never had a geek guy not call me when he said he would. Score major points THERE.
2.) They’re useful. In this tech-savvy world, it’s great to have a b/f who can make your laptop, desktop, and just about anything else that plugs into a wall behave itself.
3.) They’re more romantic than they’re given credit for. Ok true, their idea of romance might be to make up a spiffy web-page with all the reasons why they love you, with links to pics of you and sonnets and such... but hey. It lasts longer than flowers, plus you can show your friends.
4.) Due to their neglected status, there are plenty to choose from. You like ‘em tall and slender? There are plenty of geeks/nerds who are. You like ‘em smaller with more meat on their bones? Got that too.
5.) They’ve got brains. Come on now, how can intelligence be a bad thing?
6.) Most are quite good at remembering dates. Like birthdates and such, especially if they know it’ll make you happy. Due again to their neglected status, they’re more attentive than guys who “have more options”. Plus, with all that down time without a steady girlfriend, they’ll likely have mental lists of all the things they’d love to do once they GOT a girlfriend.
7.) Sex. Yep. Sex. I’m not really familiar with this myself, but I’ve friends who’ve been intimate with geek guys and it’s raves all around. They say a virgin wrote the Kama Sutra... all that time thinking about sex, imagining sex, dreaming about sex, (they are male after all) coupled with a desire to make you happy? Use your imagination.
8.) They’re relatively low-maintenance. Most can be fueled on pizza, Twinkies and Mt Dew. No complicated dinners needed here, so if you’re not the best cook, eh. Can you order a pizza?
9.) Most frequent bars as often as slugs frequent salt mines. You won’t have to worry much about your geek guy getting his “groove” on with club hotties because, frankly, he’ll be too busy rooting around under his computer wondering where that spare cable went. You won’t have to worry about him flirting with other women because, 9 out of 10 times, he’ll zip right by them in a perfect b-line towards the nearest electronics store. I’ve seen this happen.
Me: “Eww. Victoria Secret’s Models... They’re so skinny. How is that feminine? You can see her ribs!”
Geek Guy: “ooooooo...”
Me: “Hey!” *notices he is staring lustfully towards the computer store*
Geek Guy: “What?”
Me: “Never mind...”
10.) Although he may not want to go to every outing with you, you can arrange swaps, as in, you’ll go to his Gamer Con dressed as an elf princess if he’ll take you to the ballet. Plus, if he doesn’t want to go someplace with you, you won’t have to worry much about what he’s up to. You’ll probably come home to find him asleep on his keyboard in a sea of Mt. Dew cans with code blinking from the screen. It’s ok. He’s used to this. Just toss a blanket over him and turn out the light.
11.) His friends aren’t jerks. I can’t stress this enough. You’ll more likely get “Omg! A GIRL!! Can I see?!” than “Hey hot stuff back that ass up here and let me get some grub on...” They’re awkward geeks too and will, 9 times out of 10, treat you with the utmost respect and, more than likely, a note of awe. A cute girl picked one of their clan to date? It could happen to them! Hope! Drag some of your single girlfriends over, open up a pack of Mt. Dew, crack open the DnD set and get working. Nothing impresses geek guys more than a girl who can hack-n-slash (well ok maybe if she can code... a geek can dream).
12.) They’re rarely if ever possessive. They trust you, so you can be yourself around them. You like to walk around the house in a ratty t-shirt for comfort? He won’t care. He does too! They won’t get pissy if you don’t wear make-up or don’t want to bother primping your hair. If you gain a few pounds, they won’t try their best to make you feel like crap.
13.) They’re usually very well educated. Physics majors and the like. See #5. You won’t have to listen to him blathering on about his car (ok maybe a little), he’ll have loads of other interesting things to talk about. Politics, world events, how much the chicken burgers down at the local place rock, so long as you douse them in hot sauce...
14.) You’ll almost never have to hear, “Yaw dawg whazzap!!” plop out of their mouths. Unless it’s in jest. They spell properly, use correct punctuation, and are able to tell the difference between the toilet and the floor. They almost never get “wasted”, so you won’t have to worry about coming home to find him and his friends passed out on the floor amidst a pile of beer bottles. Mt. Dew cans, perhaps...
15.) And the final reason why geeks and nerds make great boyfriends: They actually give a damn about you. Not how you look (though that’s a plus), not how skinny you are, not how much make-up you primp yourself up with, but they like you for you. That kind of thing lasts longer than “DaMN baby you got a fine ass!!!” Believe me.

Did you see this Asshole?! (pardon my french)

I really am still appalled. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the second comment on my latest entry, and by the way I visited other blogs and it was there as well.....its some pyscho non-tolerant Finnish community or an individual didnt really care...the point is they are trying to organize a contest of coming up with the best cartoon ..sarcastic one of course about the Prophet Mohamed (SAAS). I never thought this issue of the dannish cartoons would resurface, but then again some Finnish people joined da club to celebrate tainting the whole Islamic nation's beliefs!
well...sadly here is the link:
http://prophet-muhammed-cartoon-contest.blogspot.com/
we really need to take immediate actions against this finnish bullshit!
